(Seed Grown)

Acacia denticulosa or Sandpaper Wattle is one of several Acacias that we grow... because they're awesome! This particular one has rough leaves that resemble a course grit sand paper. Far from being a negative, it's uncommon for a visitor to the nursery to not rub the leaves between their fingers in amazement.

The flowers appear in late winter and resemble a cluster of Cheetos. They're displayed at the end of branches and the show is Oscar worthy. New growth is a rusty felt color and all foliage (new or old) is attractive when backlit by the rising or setting sun. Easy, fast shrub most average sized gardens.

      Acacia denticulosa

My little Acacia was healthy and ready to grow. It was easy to purchase online and arrange a time to pick up. The plant was not too big and not too small. The whole nursery inventory was heathy and beautifully grown. Lots of plants you can’t find anywhere else. Pick up was easy and fun to see the demonstration gardens.

      Wonderful experience.
