(Division Grown)
This is not the Sisyrinchium you're used to seeing if you're out and about through California. That's because this strap-leaf swooner is from the eastern parts of South America, ie. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and both 'guay's. The spikes of cheerful, starry yellow flowers start to pop in Spring and will continue through the warmer months. It generally prefers moist conditions but can tolerate brief dry spells once established. This is a chill and low-maintenance addition to any garden.
