(Seed grown)

This oddball looks like it was plucked from a 1970s aquarium -- Sea Monkeys are not included. Let's see how many heads that cultural reference soars over. Those flat blue leaves twist, turn, and overlap, creating a 'magic eye' like effect -- How about that reference? Anybody?

In late winter, masses of golden pom-poms dot the phyllodes (leaves to the rest of us) as if glued on by pranksters. The new growth is like burning embers and persists for months before fading to the standard blue.
