(Seed Grown)
The Couch Honeypot was formerly a Dryandra before being lumped with the rest of the genus into Banksia. So you don't think it looks much like a Banksia; I'm inclined to agree, but let's put the botanical thumb wrestling aside and talk about those cool leaves. Each one has tiny serrations that give it a fern-like appearance. The backsides are a soft white, so the effect of the jostling leaves when the wind is about is terrific. The flowers tend to hide away in the foliage, hope you'll be distracted by the leaves and not seek them out for a vase visit.
