(Seed Grown)
The spineless caper bush is an intriguing plant with a lot to offer. You might know its famous edible flower buds, the capers, which are a staple in Mediterranean cooking. But outside the kitchen, this plant is pretty impressive in its own right.
It produces these stunning, delicate, white to pinkish-white flowers with long, showy stamens, similar to those of a mimosa flower. What's even better is that, unlike its spiny cousin, this variety is thornless, making it much easier to handle. It's also incredibly tough and drought-tolerant once established, thriving in hot, dry climates and rocky soils, making it a surprisingly resilient and attractive addition to a garden.
