Bush Gems Celebrations Anigozanthos Masquerade PPAF (to be formal) is a striking kangaroo paw with rare blue-purple flowers, developed through Kings Park and Botanic Garden’s Bush Gems Celebrations® breeding program in Perth, Western Australia. The goal was to create a unique coloration while improving disease tolerance, resulting in a hardy, garden-ready hybrid.
A few tips to keep it happy: plant in well-drained soil, provide some afternoon shade in hotter inland areas, and water regularly during the hottest months. Perfect for pots, planters, or garden beds where its stunning flowers can really be appreciated.

This plant is one of those that I had to have as soon as I saw it. I did order from another vendor a year ago, but received a very tiny plant that failed to thrive. So excited that Troy is growing these now, and the two I picked up from him are healthy and of good size, with one even in bloom already (see photos). Those jewel tones of blue, purple and turquoise green are drool-worthy; they remind me of the iridescent colors of hummingbirds, and how could you not like that!
