I’ve always had a soft spot for the emu bushes — they’re tough as old boots when it comes to their cultural requirements. Here’s the process: plant them in the hottest part of your garden with good drainage — you know that wall with the southern exposure where you could cook an egg. That’s the spot. Water until established, then sit back and enjoy the show.
