(Seed Grown)

Eucalyptus caesia ‘Silver Princess’ is one of the most underrated, small to medium-sized trees that we can add to our garden. Although native to the granite outcrops of Western Australia, it does just as well in most soils. It has an attractive weeping form, silvery branches, and a cool bark that peels to reveal a pinkish underlayer. It bursts into showy, pendulous pink flowers that look like floating tutus dancing about in late winter to spring. Drought-tolerant and weeping habit make it a standout feature in a dry garden.

**Before you start sending that “wrong plant” complaint, remember: young leaves look nothing like mature foliage. Take a deep breath, dig that hole, and plant with confidence—the princess will be looking regal in no time!
