The Swan River Pea (a bit easier to pronounce) is a low-growing, spreading shrub with deep red, pea-shaped flowers from late winter to spring. When not in bloom, the leaves create a fine backdrop for other cast members of your garden show, with the plant as a whole being very undemanding.
