(Seed Grown)

Another option for the foliage fans. While most Hakeas are grown for their flowers, this oddball is all about the leaves and their outrageous colors.

The plant you’ll receive will be a young’un, and the leaves will look more like surfboards than the technicolor paddles shown in the photos. Don’t panic — that’s normal. As the plant matures, those long juvenile leaves give way to the broad, crinkled, color-splashed foliage that makes this species famous.
