(Seed Grown)
This is a compact, evergreen shrub with soft green leaves. The outer leaves (aka Bracts) change to a creamy-yellow color during late winter before aging out to a vibrant red. Fairly hardy and definatley low-maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, acidic soil. Drought-tolerant once established and looks its best with a light prune after flowering.
