(Seed Grown)
I just can't grow enough of the blushing bride to meet demand. It gets swooped up as soon as it's listed - a good problem as a nurseryman. It takes more thought on placement than some of the bigger, boofier proteas as it prefers good drainage. If you're lucky enough to have one of those magical Southern Californian granite-derived soils, BINGO! If not, you'll need to place it on the top of a berm or, even better, in a container where you can control the drainage. It's worth fussing with this little diva for those stunning cut flowers and the look of envy from your plant friends.
